Also, for those already enjoying Oblivion, you may want to poke around Ye Ole Intarweb for some .ini file tweaks. Word 'round the campfire is that with a few tweaks here and there, the game plays a lot smoother and looks a lot better, too.

So far, the biggest bitch I've read about has to do with scaling. I see where they're coming from, but it does seem like that would be something taken care of (or made variable and user-controlled) in a patch.
