Supersize Me

So I finally went to see Supersize Me. Pretty darn good. Not that much of the information in the movie was unknown to me, but it is still pretty eyeopening. In case you don't know about the movie, this guy decided to go on a month long diet of McDonald's food only. Three 'squares' a day. Man is it epic. As a touch of irony Aimey and I went to KK Karl's before the movie for what will probably be our last Fast Food for a bit. As a topper they play Rock-n-Roll McDonald's by Wesley Willis dick fit in your mouth at one point in the film.

Jon: Speaking of Documentaries I found one I think you would be very interested in. I dont know when it will make it to a screen in LA, their website was useless (www.saltonseadoc.com), but keep an eye out for it. Anyway it is called Plagues and Pleasures on the Salton Sea. There is a review of it here. Check it out it sounds interesting.

Bortz a lot

More Juice

Yeah the US Army survival manual is a great item for a someone that might find themselves in a desperate situation. A lot of info on how to survive in the various climates and terrains. Eevrything from forests, jungles, deserts. How to find food, water, make appropriate shelters. Etc.. Pretty cool. Nice to know if you camp/hike.

Yeah the Queue auto reorder thing is pretty good. Without it, the queue would be unmanageable.

The senate committe was much more critical than the house. I was hoping the house would grill him more, but thy havent. Its still going on. Has been for a few hours. Both the House and Senate are calling for more far reaching charges than just the couple of seargents and privates that are being charged now. Just how far it goes up the ladder will be interesting. From what I understand, by far the worst images have yet to be released. Great. Just what we need.

Off to see the wizard
The US Army survival manual, huh?

I'm halfway through the second book of Game of Thrones and still liking it. Last weekend we tried the board game. I enjoyed it, I'm not sure about the others. (Well, Laurie I know about:

[after she made some tactical mistake]
JON: Well, maybe next time.
LAURIE: I'm not playing this game ever again.)

With the queue, when I first got it I thought that if you reordered your queue, you had to manually change the order of every single movie. It was a happy day for me when I realized that I could just put something at 3 and the queue would automatically figure out that everything else should be 4, 5, etc.. Computers, so wonderful!

Rumsfeld is a fucker.

Yeah I am over the whole laundry thing now. Still it bothers me that some people value their time so much but care so little for others. Ahh yes the Me complex so many people seem to have.

I think I am going to have to catch the Kill Bill thing. Although I will probably wait until they come out on DVD @ Netflix. Just add it to my Queue. You know everytime I go in to my Netflix account I look at the Queue Aimey has stockpilled and I get frustrated and give up. She has 98 DVD's in it. She tells me to put my movies in the list where ever, but I just look at it and say, forget it. Too much work. Now is that lazy or what? And no it is nothing like my book theory problem. Which Ayn Rand personally cured for me. Right now, I am reading The History of the Second World War. That book is really cool, but it is going to take me forever to read. SO I have been on/off reading that one with others intermingled (A Game of Thrones and the US Army Survival Manual). See I am cured Jon.

I hope they crucify Rumsfield

Yeah, I'm fairly intolerant of people that don't move their laundry. What's up with that? I give people 5 minutes. After that, their laundry gets moved. Being inconsiderate with public facilities is shitty.

I saw Kill Bill 2 again last night, this time with my madre. (She liked it.) The funny thing is that it turns out to be a strangely appropriate Mother's Day movie.

Laundry Fun!

/* Start Gripe
I like the part where Batman punches the Joker into the apple sauce. No seriously, I hate my laundry room here. we have 10 washers and 10 dryers. I go down there after my wash is done and there are 2 dryers out of order, 5 dryers with dry clothes and 3 more are being used. 15 minutes later, still no one has shown up to claim their dry clothes. Meanwhile another guy gave up and carried his wet clothes to another laundry room in another building. I get peeved and move the dry clothes to the out of order dryers and start my loads. SO what happens, 10 minutes later some lady comes in and I show her where her stuff is. She starts giving me guff about moving the goods. Man people suck sometimes. At least the second person that came in didnt have a problem with it. Its not like I threw the clothes on the floor.
End Gripe */

Go Disney

Looks like Eisner is sleeping with Bush. Fuggers. Michael Moore has a new movie called 'Fahrenheit 911' that Miramax is to release after the Cannes Festival. Unfortunately, Disney owns said Miramax and is trying to block the movie from being released. Moore's legal team has accused Disney of fearing the loss of tax breaks as a result of the movie's subject matter.

Why do I still like Disney? I mean they have always been this way politically and I hate that. Yet I will still go to Disneyland. I guess I still like the idea of Disney and childhood nostalgia.

Bizarre D&D Module

If you're interested in old-school D&D, you might find this amusing. Just goes to show that the crappiest stuff ultimately becomes the most valuable.

Panasonic Movie of the Month: Hear No Evil

Marlee Matlin can “hear no evil.” Why not? Because she is fucking deaf. Coming off her “pander to the handicapable” Oscar win for Children of a Lesser God, Ms. Matlin decided to continue her career as an “actorvist” by starring in this piece of garbage.

Here’s what you learn from this movie:
1. Deaf people are just like real people!

If you’ve seen “Sleeping with the Enemy,” this is like a crappy version of that, combined with a crappy corrupt cops drama combined with Marlee Matlin. If you like deaf people, prepare to have your opinion changed!

I forgot to mention in the list above, but there are some other things I learned:
1. The best way to steal “the most valuable coin in the world,” which is worth a million dollars, is to ride up on horseback to the lone, chubby security guard with a bouquet of flowers in the broad daylight, and then instead of giving her the flowers, shoot her!
2. If the killer is after you because you’ve inadvertantly gotten the coin, and you’re deaf, and suddenly the phone goes dead, which I don’t know how you realize that anyway, look at the cord to see where it’s cut. Then turn the other way, because the killer has teleported to that side of the room!
3. If your new boyfriend is an insomniac and you repeatedly wake him up by accidentally turning on the garbage disposal or setting the fire alarm off by burning toast, just smile and shrug it off. You don’t have to apologize for it, because you’re deaf!
4. MARLEE MATLIN = fUCK Yuo!
Yar! Maybe!!!

Hey duders. I dunno about sunday - prolly won't know till the weekend. I'm starting to work on the album, so if I can keep my shit together for the next month or two, I'll probably be focusing on that. But fuck, I know I can always use breaks, and I visit my folks on the weekend to do laundry, etc, so u can put me in as a definate maybe. The rough DEADline for the album is gonna be july 1st so there can be an early september release, but if I can get it done sooner, then we can put it out sooner! I'm pretty stoked. I'm still in for the khan though - my plan is to take a week or two of vacation leading up to the con to just work on my shit. Then, a weekend up north would be a nice "vacation" from the vacation before I head back to my job. We'll see - I know I can get a WEEK no problem, but I'm gonna see if the boss'll give me another week with no pay or something - mini leave of absence or somethin. Anyways, my guy stays on the ship if we don't meet up this weekend.

Alright jerkals! late

Happy news for Eric: apparently a new edition of Warhammer RPG is on the way. A 40k RPG is in the works as well. (The link just leads to a press release. Evidence!)

Hey Rude--I think we're going to try and get together this Sunday. Are you free? We can do some role-playing! (Teardrop rolls down face.)

Lets send Bush to Iraq without a guard

Rude: I saw that image a few days back and was pretty set back by the irony of it. Pretty creepy... Bush, what a fuck nut. That man is the bane of my existence.

Spyware problems? I have the perfect tool. Spybot S&D (Search & Destroy). Freeware! it catches more problems than any of the others I have used. Its a great program. Better yet, it doesnt add its own spyware to yoursystem. I guess one of the spyware programs would clean everyone elses spyware off your computer, but not its own companies. The only problem with Spybot S&D is that the integrated update tool doesn't always work. I think the server is inundated. But you can go directly to the site and download the new Definitions and updates. Just like Virus scanners. Too bad I havent found a Proactive tool instead of a reactive tool. At least spyware is easy to rid yourself of. If you get the chance Get it. I have also found Mozilla Firefox is less likely to get spyware too if you feel like being more aggressive.

Ry: I have been given a day for BB. Aimey is still working on papers, but Wednesday night she won't be around. Is that good for you for BB? Give me a heads up.

Arena Maximus was pretty good. It is a beer and pretzels version of Circvs Maximvs. Fun stuff. Ja-El, bring it to Booblakhan.

Big Ooga Nails

whoa

Go check out this image! from American Leftist blog...
I had posted it but its a little too big and tweaked with the blog. ok bye
spyware shit sucks! i had some probs getting rid of this one program called jereid (or something like that) and i had to do all this regedit bullshit to finally be done with it. fuck! but, as of now, im apparently spyware free.
Good game

Arena Maximus is a good game. Good purchase Jon. Aaron and I played two games, He won the first and crashed to his death on the second! Aarons Ass found the merciless whippings merciless! har har! Whip-it Good as aaron says. This game is a keeper.

Aaron and I also went head to head in the infamous battle at Pea ridge. Anyone old enough to remember? Well, this day took it's bloody toll on poor enron as the confederates smashed his right flank and just as he thought he stemmied the tide of the onrush, his right flank was overrun with confederate cavalry, who chased his General and squad of cannons all the way back to Maine. Victory to the confederates! (dixie land plays in the background)

Mr. Jed Bush... a fine character.

Jael

Also, I realize I probably shouldn't start a sentence with Also, but I didn't realize how big of a difference spyware and popups delays a computer!!! OMG, thanks to mr. computer whiz, helping me get rid of all the hidden spyware files, my computer is running smoothly. The removal programs are pretty small in size. Make sure you guys invest some time and get one.
WTF
I like to think I'm a fairly easy going person, but that Loyalty Day piece of shit got me soooooo pissed. I've been moved to actual rage. Oh fuck fuckety fuck fuck. What's next? We amend the Constitution for mandatory flag saluting? Fucking goose stepping bastards...
i KNOW for a fact it won't break down, but i dont want you guys all worried about it the whole time, so whatever! :) i just thought it would be convient/fun. whats up with the store dude? thats what we're dying to hear about! or at least me cuz i know u kick it with the other dudes on the daily.
