How's It Taste, Motherfucker?!?

- Dave Chappelle. Funny, funny, insane, insanely rich, man.

- Re-re-re-watching Band of Brothers. So good.

- Blood Bowl. Awesome.

- WFRP. Cool, but the adventure that I was going to run, Denis read already, and Jon has already read the one from the book, so I will have to drum up something. Oh woe is me.

- Vallejo Paints are the greatest paints ever made. I wish Denis had emphasized this earlier, because I am totally converted. They'rre Grrreat!

- Making a Flames of War German army for me to play against myself with and have plans to make a great new wargaming table to play myself on as well. Ah, how I long for high school again so that I could get some consistent miniatures gaming in!

- Kubla is coming! Getting fired up! Can't wait to play Axis and Allies: D-Day, Banjo-Man Combat Fuck, Blood Bowl, some other WWII crap, some CoC card games, some Memoir '44, and some other lame stuff too! Still contemplating a wednesday night drive or a thursday drive.

- The new Alkaline Trio is good, eh Rudy? I like it.

That is all for now.

Did I post this already?

I can't remember. But if I didn't (or you missed it the first time around), The Five Geek Social Fallacies is an interesting look at our nerdy subculture.

God damn, I'm going to work tomorrow! I'm weirded out. The idea of being with my friends at KublaCon, dressed to the nines and smelling great, is the only thing keeping me going.

Update: This picture makes me laugh.

I knew it!
I should have brought my dinner jacket (read: tuxedo) with me from Cambridge. THAT would take the cake for incongruous at the Con!

Misc Debris

For those of you interested in Hybrid cars here is a site that breaks down the actual mileage that they get from real drivers. Pretty cool. The site has comparison stats on the hybrids too. Check it out.

Quote of the day: "I was on the bus, eating crackers and easy cheese, but the bus was dark, so I did not know how much cheese I was putting on each cracker. They should make easy cheese glow-in-the-dark. You're eating processed cheese from a can, as if the product has that much integrity to begin with. I don't think you'd get mad it if also glows in the dark..."

Dress suits at a con. The social mismatch of the year award.

I like the cut of your jib, Ulric Hessel! I will get my suit drycleaned post-haste.
