Work Work Work Work Work Work. Convention time!

There. That's one work for each day of the week, except for Sunday where people here actually Don't Work?

Hey guys, what's up? If your wondering, there's no games here. no time. Most people work six days a week. and it's too damn hot to sit around at home stewing over "the grape escape" or rollin the dice at Settlers of Cataan. So take that MB.

Gaymer 1: (rollin the mojo) alright! i got some bricks
Gaymer 2: Hurry up. it's getting hot in here
Gaymer 1: lemme think, wanna trade?
Gaymer 2: (died of heat exaustion)

Man, I wish i could be playing some games at the con, but i'm instead typing this at work. Everything else is cool though. I'm the new Business Developement Engineer, whatever the heck that means, but i'm mainly under the Sales and Marketing division. So the job is cool. We also have a cafeteria, but the food is, well... eclectic. Most of the times they serve some type of Fried venue. Everyday, it's either, fried fish, chicken, pork and rotates everyday. Actually the food is pretty bad.

On other notes: That history channel game looks pretty hot. Boo Roleplaying. Congrats rudy on your debue. I would have gone for sure.

well anyhow, talk to you guys later,
Johnny

Have fun at the con! and tell me how it went. TRUE DUNGEON...

Mine's F'n ripe

So ripe I peeled it and ate it. Fuggers, dont look at me like you havent. Besides Eric likes it. Likes the way it feels on his teeth. Mmmmm ripenis.

Yeah so what if I added an 'H'. Whats it thoo you john chunt eater-son. Man I am so burnt. I havent slept more than 4 and a half hours on any day in the past four nights. Didnt help that one of those nights I woke up every 30 minutes thinking I forget to make a specific and often ludicrous change in the book before it went to the printer. I am burnt to a cris. MacDonalds, breakfast of champions. Rock on New York, Rock on Chicago.

Pump: It is good to see that you have not died trying to protect all your mintures in a moment of perverse clarity by ingesting them all individually wrapped in the poor mans condom, Saran wrap. BTW if you try rubbing the delicious new video card on your belly it is a much more intense feel than what could ever be had with your hands.

The book is done. Yeeha! The first 10 prototype wire-bound printings came off the press and will be peddled to potential publishers at the AIA convention after they tour Italia. If they dont get picked up, they will be perfect bound at a real printer, otherwise, who knowswhat will happen if a publisher picks them up.

My 210 minutes of glory(hole) action in LA, of which 60 was spent at LAX, was brief and full of signitures, notaries and hoodwinking in no particular order. At least I got a chance to have dinner with my Mum and Wienerdude at good old Sion's. Mmmmm Bistek Picado and a Pacifico. Rule.

Elzar: Respond you punk ass turd. Me need the Warhammer! Teehehehe

We Have Fallatiated Ryan's Penis

BTW David may not make it to the Con. Home boy tried to get airline tickets, but they were just too expensive. Booooo...
Aaron, you freak! I don't want to speak for Eric, but I am pretty sure he would not want to play "We Have Fuckin' Ripe Penises" (WHFRP)! What's wrong with you? Sick-o.

Ugggg...

Boy are you in for a treat.. Okay I will be in LA tomarrow for 4 hours and 15 miuntes. I am sooo tired, I will sexplain later.

Elzar: I have one acronym for you WHFRP. You will run it at Kooba. I have not played an RPG in 3 years. I have not played WHFRP in over a decade. Please, for the love of god run a game. Even Jon has been pressing me to pressure you into running a one off WHFRP adventure. Sincerely. Not the, I wanna play the Ratcather "Batman Theride" Jon, but the I like RPGs Jon. Ill play CCGs too. I have been having nostalgic feeling about those days too.

Haloooo!
Coming in from the cold... Recently got a new computer (with a sweet sweet sweet video card - strokes card as blood drips from all the abrasion cuts ) to play WoW to its fullest with all my guildmates at the Action Team plus one!... guys? /yell hellooooo?!!!! /cry Hee heee, I logged in last night and the last character on was about a month ago. But as the gods are my witnesses, I ain't quitting until I'm unemployed! (prolly in a month or so boooooooo). So how do I go about and stage a coup d'etat for guild leadership?

Jon - Good call on the DS. Good sire, tis but a piece of offal. Offal sir! Setting aside the fact that they've yet to release a decent number of games for it, it is really badly designed. Take it from somebody who has played with it for eight hours. It is too big, and top-heavy. Murder on the wrists. The SP is soooo much more elegantly designed... mmmmmm klondike bar.......aarrrrrrgg. Oh yeah still working on the elfy cheesecake.

Rudy - Congratulations! Just catching up on the blog. Hope the party went well.

Eric - Saw the Blood Bowl humans..... hmmmmm I do believe that might be enough to push me over to the humans. sweet sweet humans.....
I'll probably pick up Halo 2 someday... that's supposed to be awesome on Live. Maybe we can saddle up then!

Might and Magic II! Hell yeah! I love the first two Might & Magic games. Might & Magic I for its ugly graphics, extreme difficulty and inscrutable demeanor, Might & Magic II for being one of the most beautifulest games ever and one of the longest and hardest games that I ever beat! That kept Jordan and I busy for at least a year. I've still got our maps around somewhere....

MAN those graphics were good at the time! I remember seeing the pegasus on the back of the box and being all "DUDE! These graphics are AMAZING!" Then I went to school and got beat up by Jeff Stimpfig.

The subsequent games never captured the magic of the first two. They all had this kind of cookie-cutter design. I guess it was kinda cool when they put out 4 & 5 at the same time and you could combine them into one mega-game. But for the most part they were lame.

So, my phone is broken. I charged it the other night, unplugged it early in the morning (like five), and when I got out of bed it was dead. I took it to the T-Mobile store and the kid working there removed the battery and put it back in again, at which point it worked for about at hour before crapping out again. It won't hold a charge, and when I plug it into the charger nothing happens except the battery gets hot. Awesome.
Phil of Thrones

It's always so sad to get rid of games for credit. Makes me feel like a dirty whore, and then I am left with the feeling of "are my memories only worth $50 in store credit?!?!?" An odd move with the XBox Live, I must say. Even more of a shame that I will probably never get a subscription to play UT2 with you. Counterstrike? Sure. UT2, prolly not. Besides, I am too busy playing through Might and Magic II again. Actually, I have never played "through" it, seeing as I have never finsihed the game and saved Cron, but maybe this time will be different! So much goodness from a 600K game! Sidenote: The hint book has all the items and monsters listed in it, and I used to think it was a massive tome of knowledge, but WoW put that thought right out of my head, it seems a paltry offering these days. *sniff*

- Hold out for the PSP dude! F the DX!

- Announcing the "Name Eric's Ogre Team Contest!" Enter as often as you like, no purchase necessary, and winners will be allowed the chance to beat on Eric's ass as he playes the Ogres for the first time!

- We should do a miniature closed deck CCG tournament at Kublacon. Card games are fun in moderation, and we should do it! (He says to the sound of boos and hisses from his "friends")

- Anyone (Aaron or Mike) know where you can get Strongbow in the US? It's a delightful cider from England, that tastes less like cider and more like heaven. It's on tap at a bar in Santa Monica, but I hoped someone knew where I could buy some bottles or cans of it.

- There is also a new sculpt for the human Blood Bowl team, and FYI Mike and Denis, I think it is actually $50 for 16 players, not 11. I think that was the uninformed GW US biffing it in the magazine. The sculpts look GREAT and they should be out in June I believe. Cause lord knows I need another human team!

Aw, no more Action Team representation in Azeroth. (Except possibly Denis?) How sad.

This weekend I traded in Thief, Resident Evil 4, and all of my Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Color games and got $130 in store credit. Yay for getting ripped off! But all that stuff was just lying around so it was good to get rid of. I thought about trading in the SP as well and swapping it all for a DS, but then I looked at the actual DS game selection, which is basically garbage. Those little things have potential but there's no reason to own one right now, in my opinion. Maybe this is just sour grapes for not winning the free one at GenCon.

Instead, I picked up an Xbox Live subscription and Unreal Championship 2 (the sexy, funny, and Olivier-award winning deathmatch game). Now I can kick ass online and talk in a robot voice. Hooray! I haven't hooked up Live yet, though, because I've been playing through the story mode. It's similar to Unreal Tournament, except it's mostly 3rd-person and everybody has crazy melee kung-fu powarz that let you fly the hell all over the arenas. I love it! I played UT more than any other action game and I think this one will occupy a similar place.

The Live kit also came with Crimson Skies, but I haven't tried that one yet.

Well, keep on juggling!
