Cheers and Jeers: Burlingheim Edition!

Cheers to Bruno, he made a game!

Jeers to whoever left the Pizza-Licious Pringles in the room! They are hideously delicious.

Cheers to the Coca-Cola corporation! I left a half-drunk liter of Diet Coke in the fridge almost two weeks ago. It tastes like I just bought it an hour ago.

Cheers to Denis for his two-hour bathroom breaks! When Aaron and I stayed the extra night, pushed behind the toilet we found something that could shed light on this mystery... a crumpled, folded pile of withered skin, dry to the touch, in the exact form of our Vespa-driving compadre!

Jeers to this list, fuck this.
Best room eVaR!

I would have to agree, that was a sweet room. the view was great, accesibility was great. Awesome. I guess the universe had to balance things out after the fine placement in the boondocks last con.

Elzar, did you get the email I sent to your 10d6 account? I sent a copy of the hotel bill to you there. Tell me what my share is and I will send the bones down to you.

Perhaps next time we can set aside more time for RPG action so that we actually get more accomplished.

Ashes of WFRP

RPGing was fun, but it's like a worse tease than Bare Elegance because we can't play until next con! Unless we are all, or even some of us are willing to try out the play by either 1)email, 2) chat, 3) message board. None of those options are too appealing, but might be worth a shot!

And while it might suck that none of the characters struck a blow in combat before we quit playing, it is somehow just and befitting the WFRP world that you all ended your WFRP experience in apparent failure.

Golden Wreaths!

PS One of the best cons evar. LOVED that room! Also, go to vassalengine.org and download VASSAL, then talk to me and I can send you the Up Front module and we can play some network Up Front games!
Cheers to me mate Elzar

Great con. Short feeling, but sweet. Great to see all the guys, especially Dr. MotoByke. Been a year and a half since gamin' with that monkey fucker. I am already looking towards december.

Awesome GM action by E. I really enjoyed it, even though it was quite brief. I think RPG action should become a mainstay at the con again. WFRP felt like WFRP of old and I miss that action. E, thank you for the GM action, I had GCF. I miss RPG so much I am nearly desperate enough to run one, knowing full well how bad I am at GM'ing.

I christen this most recent Kubla Con: (Rudy + Caffine + Luscious Male Rump) = Ruderoticon

A good several days!

Thanks for the fun at the con guys! I especially had a great time rolling the old dice again with my former brothers in arms (and in the case of Mike, my brother in flesh!). I hope we can make role-playing a more regular feature of future conventions -- perhaps on the role-playing night we can distract Johnny with shiny trinkets or more pictures of Linda Tran?

Enron and I stuck around Sunday night and had a good time. We got drunk, etc.. We also played my board game purchase, Jambo, which turned out to be a lot of fun! So that was good too.

Then I had Monday off, my first day in a bajillion years, that was nice too.

Today at work we shipped a big product, so instead of working late, instead we all got beers and left early (and got paid for a full day). I took advantage of the time to finally catch the new Star Wars. I liked that a lot, too! Natalie Portman and Hayden Christensen actually act! I actually felt emotionally for the characters! Tons of cool stuff happened! Yeah, there were cheesy parts, but there were so many good parts that the cheesy parts felt "earned," somehow. Can't wait to see it again. ULTIMATE POWER!!!
