| Gleeznuts-max

Hate to say it, but the Hasborg creation, Gleemax, has finally posted some free games (temporarily) to play on their site and they are really fun and well done.

I have been playing quite a bit of Acquire, which I finally get (cause I am a moran), Robo Rally (which I hate even more now that i have played it again), Axis and Allies is available, Vegas Showdown, Guillotine, and I guess they licensed Desktop Defense.

They are well done and Acquire is really fun! Setting up to play some A&A with AI in a few minutes.

Three cheers for Saturday night when you have a kid!

| Proof positive...

...George Lucas is off his rocker, seriously - from a CNN article today:

"In its earliest incarnation, Lucas proposed an all-out alien flick called "Indiana Jones and the Saucer Men From Mars." Spielberg and Ford didn't like that idea, and it took more than a decade of wrangling to come up with a story all three could live with."

Ugh.
There Will Be Blood is good -- I'd try and watch it all in one setting though. Probably not that great if broken up in chunks.

How do you guys think the new Indiana Jones is gonna turn out. I'm nervous but optimistic. This actually made me feel a little better about it than I have been.
I just watched the movie "The Good Shepard". It was really good! It's got Matt Damon and it's about (basically) the birth of the CIA. Pretty entertaining stuff, and totally wasn't "dry" like I kinda thought it would be. Long but it keeps you interested. On deck is "There Will Be Blood." Might have to wait a couple of days to check that one out. Looks intense.

| Flea bag

I have not paid for a table yet, but I am not sure I can fit all my stuff on a shared table. I have over 80 games, not including RPG stuff I wanna try and sell, so I am not sure how that will work space wise. But after we see the tables we can determine if that will work or not.

As a related sidenote: Does anyone have my copy of Star Wars: Queens Gambit? I know I can get a cool $70 for that if I can track it down.

Will post my list soon and see if anyone wants to pick any of them up for a special 'pre-con' rate, though I doubt it because when I was feeling overly generous before the move and was giving games away, no one wanted these, so I doubt anyone will want to actually give me any money for them.

I need to totally watch all 3 again because, like you, temple was always my least favorite. I think enough time has past where I can watch them with fresh eyes.

Just watched Blade Runner again a few nights ago. That's a great flick.

I LOLd.

The other night we watched Last Crusade. I think I actually like Temple of Doom a little better! Last Crusade was always my favorite back in the day so this surprised me. I think I basically would rank them in order, Raiders-Temple-Last Crusade.

I REALLY hope the new one is good, but frankly after the whole Star Wars debacle I'm not getting too excited about it.

Well, my boss wasn't too pleased about my being gone over Memorial Day weekend, but it is what it is. I did tell him I could keep my cell handy to answer any burning disastrous questions, so I may have to take a few calls, but I definitely will be a free man.

Aeryk, did you end up getting a table for the flea market? If you did I wouldn't mind going in with you and unloading some of my old stuff as well.
