I like that guy's stuff, although I prefer his early-to-mid "Get Your War On". One of the funniest lines ever had to be his George Bush saying "Fuck the Constitution! I can now turn invisible at will!" LOL

Man.

It would be really, really cool to try out Epic.

I'm just sayin'.

Update: Of course it would also be cool to try out Caylus, ASL, Warmachine, Carcassonne, Puerto Rico....
Ahhh Epic

Okay, the other day I was showing my special lady friend my minis and I busted out Epic and Warmaster. Damn. Epic scale is so cool. I dont know why. Maybe it is because it is just so much grander in scale.

You know Epic 40K had some serious flaws that were quite exploitable, especially if your last name ends in -unro. That fugger. But I would imagine they ironed out a lot of the issues since. The game was just so cool. Very fast and loose. Especially as da orks. Someday I would like to bust ‘em out again. I wonder if I can use my old minis. That was the first completely painted army I ever had. Not my finest painting, but who cares on epic. This is the part where Dennis cries at the horror of it all. I guess it could be worse, I could have garishly massacred the Eldar, aka cool ass elves in Sppppaaccceeeee

Ah, Crap.

Now I've been looking at some Epic stuff online and now I totally want to play again too! However, I think I should probably abide by my previous veto of playing in the near future... but man, I really, really liked that game, and I would really, really, like to play it again!

Now I gotta bust out the rules to look over, and then oggle the pictures, and then get Gothic out and look at those rules too.... *grumble, grumble*

How Can I Serve Jon On His Vacation

Epic might be asking a bit too much, it is a large chunk of time to set aside, as well as messy, and would require me to read all the rules and organize the armies, etc. So, I'm probably gonna have to go with a big no on that one, until Wylie is a bit older anyway.

As far as gaming is concerned though, I am in! I have all sorts of great games I have been picking up here and there to play, so that will be fun!

And Ryan, (Joel), and I have been bodysurfing almost every morning around 6:45 - 7:00am and it has been awesome! Some of the best bodysurfing days of my life have happened the past couple of sessions. I likened the waves to eating pizza for three square meals a day for a month. Every wave was awesome. AWESOME! Let's go bodysurfing!
I'd say that's a sign that we should DEFINITELY play some Epic this next week.

Aeryk -- you gonna be around? Monday-Friday? How about you other jarks?

I'm planning a strict regimen of going to the beach, painting miniatures, and writing. Looking forward to it, it's my first paid week off in quite a long time.
Up for grabs:

Incomplete Space Marines set!!!! Some of its punched and primed, I'm SURE some of its missing. And some of its still unpunched. Finishing moving today and this is dusty in a closet and I will never use it. Anyone local want it? It's yours. I'm gonna throw it in storage today, if ya want it, lemme know and ill get it for you.
