Jorn, Myke, Denis

While you guys are kicking around the ole MB playing some Holiday Warmachine, feel free to come on over, and head into the garage to pick up boards and terrain if you wish. I got a 4'x4' grass board in 2'x2' pieces and a box of choice terrain that Denis and I made up. It's not alot, but it has served us well. So, feel free to pick it up, use it, abuse it, but please just drop it back off before you head out! Or leave it with Mike or Denis.

Coolio foolio's?

Are you home Mike? WTF? Or rather, FTW (the new WTF)?

Dr. Action Plan Anderson

Here's what we're gonna do. Denis and I are going up thurday night/afternoon because Aaron took friday off, and we planned on having some debaucherous revelry thursday night. Then, after you are finished with work on friday, you catch a one way flight up, we pick you up in Oakland, then go to Endgame, buy some MORE Warmachine stuff, then go back to SF, and game the fucking fuck out of that pansy ass town and play the paint of the foil ball with hat miniatures.

Then we can all drive home on sunday, and still maintain the full use of Enron's day off. It looks like you can get a 1.30 flight out of LAX for $99 bucks. I'll pitch in $20 bucks to sweeten the deal if necessary. I'll be spending that much on gas alone!

Sound good?

Dr Futbol

Mykal: I feel for you. I think a number of us Actiony Action enablers are wily vets to the pains of long-term Involuntary unemployment. It sucks bad and their is not a lot I can tell you to make it better, but, just stick with it and eventually you will find what works for you. Just remember one important thing: do not become reclusive out of shame, guilt, anger, or any other unemployment angst... I found that the more I avoided interacting with people for various reasons the more I fostered negative thoughts. You need to let loose and give yourself some social time. Be patient and it will work out. That being said, Awesome that you are official. More educated then any of us heathens. BTW, mad props for the red cape. You guys are all like little baby Supermen. Ready to take on the evil geniuses of society.

fArt: Painting the Mini's is a lot of fun. I have enjoyed what little time I have had to invest in mini painting the past month. Tangent: Uggg, most of my players for Fantasy Hockey have been broken, tired, or otherwise unproductive. Grrrr...

jA-eL: When are we going to see your nasty-burger eatin', magic-bullet sucking pretty mug? Will you be in the states for long. Give us some dates bro. Gamin' has not been the same with out Ice-lee.

Congratulations on finally making it official Myke! Don't worry too much about your job situation. God knows a lot of us have been through extended periods of unemployments (COUGHCOUGH JonEricJaelEnronDenisRyan... damn... Rudy and Art are the only ones who've been consistently employed since college). Even if you end up as Janitor Motorbyke, well, you'll always have a place in The Action Team!

SO speaking of camaraderie and togetherness, I hope you guys can make it up in Jan. for Warmachine Weekend. One thing I will say is don't come up unless you are seriously ready to a) play some games b) eat some delicious food. I am fucking serious as stone-cold fuck.

Also I wanted to test the waters for two things this coming week:

1. Anybody up for the annual Christmas Eve Poopathon? Basically every Christmas Eve afternoon (from about 3:00-5:30, usually) I go with some friends to a couple bars in downtown Hermosa and have a couple o' beers, play some foosball, maybe even smoke a cigarette? WHO KNOWS! Anyway anybody who has some free time that day is free to come by. Always a good time.

2. Also, anybody up for some gaming on Monday or Tuesday? I know Aeryk and Enron are going to be busy... BOO... but there's no reason the rest of us can't get together. I hear that Dave guy has a couple of miniatures now too, I'm gonna call him up as well.

Oh and by the way, glad to see you're being pulled in by the gravitational force of miniatures Art. Pick yourself up a starter set and get thee hence to San Francisco. Aaron and I'll show you how to roll the dice!
Wear that to true dungeon

Dr. Priest Michael Motorbike, 2nd level!

Hey art, how would I reach you for some beer and Hard crock, when i'm in vegas?

Last night I had the worst burger. I made it myself. Ground beef is not readily available, so I had this slab of mystery beef of unknown portion in the fridge that the helper found in the market. Great, so I thought I'd cut it up and ground it with my dormates Magic Bullet (tm). Blended that shit good and fried it up. Well, the meat was extremely tough and stringy to begin with, but the magic bullet didn't grind the beef fully. So I was gnawing on the chunky burger. Also there were some uncleaned tendons in there which made it just so much more chewable.

On the other hand, the greasy fresh fries were not so bad by comparison!

Ah... livin in the philippines. I'm gonna miss it when i'm in SF.
Super Dr. Motorbyke!

Congrats, again. Here's to making lots of mon-ay and earning prestige and fame. =)

Regarding miniatures, gaming and whatnot.. I think I might pick up some paints and miniatures just to do it. I miss the process and fun of painting, even if I can't play teh games. I have a month off of school starting today, so that'll hopefully lend itself a little bit towards some "me" time.

Regarding Fantasy Hockney: Guys, I'm sorry. I just got lucky with the draft. =/

Haha grats mike! Is that a little red cape that you're wearing???
Dr Motorbyke is now official

Just in case you wanted to know what a silly twat I looked like on my graduation day. It was fun. I will miss Cambridge. I'm hoping that I have a job after this, I've some interviews at a conference after Christmas, but it's not looking good really. Its stressful and I can't believe that I never seem to have any time to do anything else. GenCon SoCal seems like a distant dream to me. Yeah, that's why I never post or anything. Will you guys still like me if I have to give it all up and not be Professor Football anymore?

Elrock, I'd be up for going up for that weekend but I can't leave on Thursday -- must teach on Friday morning (10-11am). Hopefully we can work it out, otherwise I'll have to sit here being sad.
