Hooker Con II
Well in honor of man-con, i arranged for my own weekend gaming convention. So it was more expensive than i thought it would be and what i got was not as exciting. That's all i got to say about that.

Man-Con
Geek Out!
Man-Con (the con that separates the mans from the boys) is approaching! What all do we want to bring? I am planning on coming down straight from work, which means I am really only bringing what I can fit in a backpack + gym bag. Right now I'm thinking the list will pretty much be:
- 4th books, plus map tiles and minis (Enron you should totally bring your big pile o' minis)
- WoW adventure game (the newer, shorter one)
- Maybe a few minis to paint if I get banished to the time-out corner
- Prophylactics, French ticklers, &c
The commute from the East Bay to Burlingheim will probably mean that I get to the hotel somewhere around 7:00. We can arrange for an earlier checkin if you guys want.
I'm fired up!
By the way, I decided to make a new character. Figured we need a defender more than a controller. Fighter type fella. Name: Judge.

Oh man, good shit Ryan. Eric actually just posted about it maybe a week ago but I hadn't gotten around to watching it yet. Looks like it's free on Hulu (which is legal) so I'm watching the first one right now (or is it all 3 combined!? I'm not sure - this is like 40 mins long.) It's fucking funny though. Good shit - this guy makes really cool shows.

If you haven't checked it out already, and you are a fan of anything that Joss Whedon has ever done, you need to check out this.
It is a 3-part musical starring Neil Patrick Harris. I know what you are thinking ("Walsh! You fag!") but it is really fucking well done. The music, the story is all very Whedon-esque. It will only take you about 40 minutes to watch the whole thing. I DLed it on iTunes, but I'll bet you can watch it for free from you tube or somewhere else you haxors know about.

You guys should record a podcast while you're on this weird Man-Con 2008! (Sounds rad, wish I could make it.)
As far as doing a group podcast through skype, I've heard a few who use that. Not as perfect and smooth as if we were all in a room, but I think it's a pretty cool idea that we should at LEAST try to pull off once. I guess the trick is one of the computers recording the conference call. I see something called "virtual audio cables" as some type of solution, but as far as I know, that costs $40 bucks or something, and who knows, there might be other ways around it anyways ( I mean, I have multiple programs that record ANY sound coming off my computer, so I might not even need that thing.)
Topics: What do we all have in common? Hep C! Also, GAMES! Board games, rpgs, minis, video games. Also, just the random shit we used to talk about when we used to be friends way back when. :(

- 4th Ed DnD. You guys have already said a lot about it, and after Molester Con maybe you'll have more info on it.
- What have you been playing lately? Ex, Eric: Wargames, solo. Me, Braid and Geometry Wars 2. Jon, Leapfrog Pen. Jael, thai-hooker to lapdance conversion game(trial edition.) Etc, etc etc.
I just wanna talk to you guys again, and I think as an experiment it would be pretty cool and fun to try (sort of like our movies we did in Eric's room.) I'm here for the Christ.
