| ProbeSorley
ZOMG the McSorley (Pens) v. Probert (Wings) nearly 2 minute fight (94?) was epic. No official wanted to get near those brutes. Ahh the good old days of, let'um wear themselves out before intervening. While I think Probert was a bit of a punk and had quite a bit of a struggle with the controlled substances, he was really way too young to die. Boo...
Pump, at least you didn't pay for the games you can't play... I paid for a grip of games and stupid steam seems to have conveniently "forgotten" that I may play any of the games I downloaded. Oh, and no phone support for steam. Online support only. It only took them 20 hours to respond. Suck. Gotta try their fix when I get home. Chopper, suck balls.

Rude - Thanks for the music link. I downloaded several albums. It looks like they disabled the 4AD sampler though. No biggie, I'm really digging the Merge Records sampler.
Steam, you basterd! All this talk of Steam made me look around. So I order a fistful of games (and I do mean a manly two-handed fistful), but at checkout, my credit card kept getting rejected. I tried a couple of cards and they were all rejected... Booo! I really don't feel like contacting customer service. Man, I really wanted to play that Minesweeper game too.
At least I have a Steam account... (pumpkinvespa)

shit, might have to get borderlands since enron's on board - but you had to spend an extra $10 for all the dlc, right? or I'm totally not seeing the same deal.
got left 4 dead 2 so stoked for that - my STEAMy name is poundrock, so friend me you jarks. I also highly recommend the Introversion Complete pack for $5 bucks - 4 games, 2 of which so far are super awesome (haven't tried the Darwinia/multiwinia games yet.)
happy 4th

My wallet would like to have a serious discussion with you guys for telling me about this sale.
Holy shit.
Yesterday I picked up Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Athena (these games are SO good -- it's amazing) and Portal (yeah I have it for 360, but for $1.99... WHY NOT?). Today I'm looking at the goods on offer and just shaking my head. I mean here's what I see:
- Borderlands plus ALL the DLC for $10.19. I played the shit out of this game on the 360, but not any of the DLC which would cost me more than that to buy on Live in any case, and it is SO FUN co-op. Rude/Enron, what do you guys think? Any interest in getting the gang back together? Aeryk and everyone else: buy it!
- Thief 3 for $2.99. Well, fuck. Thief 3 isn't the best of the series, but it's still great, and I've been wondering what the mod community has cooked up for this one anyway.
- Left 4 Dead 2: $10.19. Well, there goes any incentive I had not to pick this one up.
- Bioshock 2: $15. Shit.
- Trine: $4. Wasn't this supposed to be fun?
So basically $50 and this is enough gaming goodness to last me YEARS. I think this will actually occupy more space than I have set aside on my Windows partition.

Last day of the Steam sale and they brought back the best sellings discounts. That new Monkey Island and like GTA4 and some thief game. Were those all good Elzar? I saw you playing them.
