Rude - Thanks for the music link. I downloaded several albums. It looks like they disabled the 4AD sampler though. No biggie, I'm really digging the Merge Records sampler.
Steam, you basterd! All this talk of Steam made me look around. So I order a fistful of games (and I do mean a manly two-handed fistful), but at checkout, my credit card kept getting rejected. I tried a couple of cards and they were all rejected... Booo! I really don't feel like contacting customer service. Man, I really wanted to play that Minesweeper game too.

Salutations!
I do believe I will be able to attend the khan.
Can't make any promises about bringing painted minis. Oh how the miniature gods weep. But there is just so much internet porn to get through you can't really blame me.
Jon - Infinity you say? Hmmmmm... Are you interested in any particular army? I have the rulebook (only skimmed its contents though). I'll bring it along and we'll try a game or two. If I can get my ass moving, we might even have minis to use. Don't be surprised if it ends up with lint and wads of tissue paper as figures though.

I think the most informative comment in the dice thread was "This study fails to account for the importance of the roll or the weapon being fired and its effect on the roll."
Definitely food for thought. I had never even briefly considered that rounding the corners might affect the statistical distribution. That guy has offered to post his full data. I'll probably check back and see if he delivers.
I'm not sure what effect rolling all the dice in a batch would have, but I think it would just introduce more chaos into the process. That is almost just another experiment.
Still haven't played Combat Commander. Work is going to be fucking me over for at least the next month so I doubt I will have a chance to play it for a while. Looking forward to it though!
3D Space Hulk is kind of a misnomer in that the regular Space Hulk is already 3D. I propose he change the name to "Space Hulk Extreme" or "Space Hulk: Outrageous!" In either case it is pretty bad-ass.
