| Hope? Action!

Okay I had one for everyone but went to work without saving all of them and... Well we had our first power outage in over a year here. Figures.

Here's a completely insane random Russian music video for your viewing pleasure. I have a feeling Enron in particular will derive enjoyment from this, but honestly, I can't imagine anyone not wanting to buy a pickle suit after watching this.

Rudy - I'm probably going to waste tons of hours on this. Here is the download demo with a level 5 cap. Follow the download link (takes a while though).

Galactrix!

And yes, I do enjoy the occasional grape soda now and then.

| Thanks Everyone

For all the kind words.

It sucks ass right now, and as the band Cinderella put it best, "You don't know what you got, 'til it gone". It's strange going about life without him being there. No sleeping on the bed, no waiting for me to come home from work, no begging for food, no jumping on your lap as soon as you sit down, no head-butts, no licking your hair after a shower, no laying on your arms as you type at the computer, no following me outside as I take out the trash, no following Wylie and I down the street as we go for a walk, etc.

It just sucks, but enough of my online grieving. Moving on.

Eric - I'm so sorry to hear about Stampy. I really liked the little guy.

Eric:

Man, so sorry to hear it.. that just sucks. =/ Stamps was awesome.
Man, Eric. I really don't know what to say. I am really bummed to hear about Stampy. He was a great guy and I know that he will be sorely missed. It is one of the hardest things to deal with, losing a pet. While they are only animals and not humans (maybe better than humans sometimes), you never really know how much they impact your life for the positive.

My thoughts are with you guys. Stampy was irreplaceable.

| Proud to be, and you can be, American

Wow that really sucks about Stamp. He was a sweet cat. Boo... At least it can be said he lived a good, albeit short, life at the eLzar homestead.

Rude: Please tell me you were watching/playing all four at the same time. That would be hardcore multimedia-multitasking. Oh and Tentacle Grape is awesome. We need some of that for Kubla. Who knows, it might even get Dennis randy.

I was very happy at work today. I walked into the office, setup a news stream and we all crammed into one office (bandwidth issue) and watched the live broadcast of the inauguration. It seems so surreal to me. I still half expect the rug to be pulled out from underneath us and Bush to exclaim 'Surprise! We 'merkins enjoyed the past 8 years so much, I decided not to leave for 8 more. Yeehaw!"

The new prez up on the White House site.

It's a nice day to be American. I bought the Rock Band country music pack in celebration! (The guitar pickin' parts are really fun and crazy to play.)
Maybe this will cheer you up Eric:
NHL Arcade!
I know you don't like how complicated the NHL series got, so this is an arcade version of 3v3 with no rules and it's $10 bucks to download - and if you ever get on gold we could even play fake-hockey together, that will cheer you riiiiiiight up!
Ah man, I'm sorry about Stampy. He was an awesome cat.

| Stampy, RIP

For no apparent reason, Stampy decided to leave this earth last night while I was at my first game night in months. I returned home at about 11:30 to find him peacefully waiting for me on the steps, as he did everyday while I was at work, but for the last time.

I dug him his final resting place in the back yard under the apple tree where he liked to take naps in the grass. We are pretty torn up about this to say the least, even more so because he and Wylie were just starting to have a nice little relationship.

Hopefully everyone can get to a TV tomorrow morning and witness history. I am going to force all of my students to watch. I may weep. Historic day.

"You know, if you're the president you only have two jobs: peace and money. That's it. I mean, it's like, what did Clinton do? We were at peace and we had a budget surplus. That's it. That's the gig. The closer you get us to those two goals, you know, that's pretty much the gig. Is that too much to ask for?"
