Rude, how steep the learning curve and ugh... more mining. Can you say sfun?
but just from reading some stuff i think
1) the requirements are much much lower than warcrack, so it should run smoothly on my laptop
2) 14 day free trial & free software
3) ubiquitous races, so should be fairly even in terms of race and classes. Won't be like hitting 60th only to find out paladins suck crap.

Only problem i see is getting ganked all the time once you leave a 5.0 zone when people are free to rape you.
