anyone selling a sweet car for $2000.00?

My car is officially "totalled" and the value of my car is about $2400.00. I know I have a $500 deductible with my insurance company, so I assume I'll be getting a little under $2k for all my worries. What would you guys do? Should I look for a used car priced around 2k or should I look into buying another new car - i hate car payments.

in somewhat maybe good news, i've probably got a second interview with Technicolor this week! Its in Glendale, I live in Los Angeles. Its 20 minutes from my house by car, about an hour by bus. Fuck.
