Movie Review: The Fast And The Furious!

Yeah- its basically a remake of Point Break, expect the surfing has been replaced with street racing. The cars: awesome. Swear to god, made me want to be a street racer (and Point Break made me want to be a Patrick Swayzee.) The action: pretty good. I had read in reviews that the racing scenes were really good and made you "feel the speed", as Pennywise the clown says, BUT they weren't really THAT impressive. You could tell that there was LOTS of post-production and lots of green-screen. The acting: oh, not so good. This is one of those movies where the first 15 minutes is SO bad. The acting and the music are just garbage. And then, either:
1. You get used to it
or
2 It gets better
but it doesn't seem so bad after those initial 15 minutes. Overall: I liked it! It was pretty corny and dumb, BUT like Point Break, there's something appealing about it.
