Kublacon
So, another con in the history books. Brief highlights include:
- Driving 800 miles to attend a con, and come home.
- The Nyarlathotep Plush Toy.
- Dwarven Dig! the new game that is sweeping the nation, or at least the game we played a lot.
- 34oz beers at the bar for Enron and I, and Jael asking for fresh-squeezed juice (he didn't get it).
- Lots of historical miniatures games there, which is good for all those that attended and Mike, but bad for everyone else.
- Games played: PBI, Blood Bowl (YAY!), Dwarven Dig!, Dungeoneer, Kingdoms, Heave-Ho!, Battle Cry, strange finger-flick racing game... is that it?
- Stuff purchased: Dwarven Dig!, Dungeoneer, The Testimony of Jacob Hollow (stupid impulse card game buy that looked WAY cooler than it is), N scale WWII miniatures and rules, 34oz of Beer, many chicken fingers, Nyarlathotep Plush Toy (hopefully two if Enron remembered to get mine!), Miskatonic parking pass, De Profundis (looks interesting, perhaps a new blog?), coffee, 8 tacos from Taco Bell for Jael, etc.
Fun was definately had, it was a good con; good numbers of people, good people, good games, good fun, I look forward to next year!
HOIST!
