My parents just sent me me a message through email about being 3-0.

Not looking for any condolences or sympathy. Just wanted to share that getting that email made me feel awkward and strange at the same time. Am I still a kid (their kid) or just some old guy that haven't flown out of the nest yet, unmarried. Maybe that's why it's so scary turning 30? Just a wierd feeling of emptiness.

Ok, enough wallowing. I'm over it now. Back to work.
