The Great Gay North

So, the family is going to be NorCal for a few days coming up here, actually tomorrow. I doubt there will be anytime to see anyone, but we would like to try to show off the boy to those who have not seen him yet, which is everyone.

We are driving to SC tomorrow, and staying the night.

Then to San Rafael to check into our Embassy Suites hotel room, that has two rooms for the price of one, which means Wylie can sleep and I can listen to death metal. Then we drive around with a real estate agent all of sunday looking at the different areas up in those parts: San Rafael, Santa Rosa, Sebastapol, Novato, Occidental, etc.

Monday, we will probably look at Santa Rosa closer, as a friend of Leslie's lives there and can show us around a bit bettar.

After that, we may end up hitting Santa Cruz again (boo...) then home. But on the way, we could maybe hit you guys up for lunch, or dinner or some such nonsense.

So, thats my story.

Maybe, you guys could suggest some places around where you are, outside of SF, that are affordable-ish? I know about Enron's map, but I don't really know the scale, or the feel for the areas, you know?

Basically the reason for this trip is to get a feel for the people, climate, style, and whatnot to see if we could move up there and be happy with our decision.
