Ex-FX

So, we did it! We unloaded the FX on the Toyota people and picked up a Prius! Hooray environment! We got the package #3 which means none of the cool doo-dads that the #7 has, not GPS, no Bluetooth, no other stuff. But we do have a backup camera(!), a CD player (with MP3 playback) and an AUX plugin for the iPods of the world. Alot of the stuff that comes in this package, and standard really, is more of a luxury item than either of us are used to. The MPH is a digital readout, the car information is a color touch screen, and the backup camera is nice too, but the keyless entry and pushbutton ignition is really rad. The key sends a signal to the car that both unlocks it for you as well as acts as being in the ignition, so you just open the door, and push the on button and it starts! It is so silent when it starts, cause there is no gas, that you need to look at the HUD to see if the car actually started. It's rad. And it's a rad feeling knowing that as I coast, or sit at a light, or just maintain my speed, I am not burning an ounce of gas. I can even cruise around parking lots, slowly of course, and never have the gas engine turn on. Good stuff.

Anyway, that is all. And since the nice words of encouragement from Enron and Jon, I am back at it updating my collection on the BGG. That is all.
