As far as the desserts go, I know out here Starbucks tried for awhile to have breakfast sandwiches - like bacon & egg, etc. That shit failed miserably. People complained that the stores smelled like processed meat (they did) instead of coffee. So they've gone back to pastries n' shit. So just don't put stinky egg samitches in there!
