Netflix, some movies, and a baby makes three.

Leslie and I are starting to watch a little bit of movie at night after Wylie is asleep and just before Leslie falls asleep. Needless to say, the two of us have been, how do you say "out of touch" with movies the past two years so we are asking the fine Action Team if they have a few movies that we could get through Netflix that would be worth watching.

Ideas?

So far my mini review of what we have seen to date:

Pirates of the Carribean II: Some Bullshit - Took us 3 nights to watch it and had to listen to it low so we may have missed something, but me no likey. Annoying, not funny, pretty to look at, crappy story, beyond over the top action, characters became unbelieveable. Too long of a reveiew.

Flags of Our Fathers: Good. Critical look at wartime domestic politics and what makes the warmachine go. Action scenes were not the caliber of Band of Brothers, ergo, ipso facto, they were lacking.

Running With Scissors: Apparently the book is more funny. We stopped about 30 minutes into it 'cause it was lame and depressing, and was not what Leslie was hoping it would be.

Babel: There is a time in everyone's life when they view art to gain a critical insight into the world, to see and feel what others who may be starkly different than they, experience; be it joy, horror, pain, fear, or suffering. That time is not right now for me and this movie depressed the hell out of me so again, we stopped it before the drunk nephew drove his aunt and her two nanny kids across the Mexican border. Heard how the movie ended, was non-plussed.

Bubba Ho-Tep: In progress.

En Route: Saw II.
