Ok, someone please explain this to me.

It's worked twice for me, but I'm gonna try it again. Basically you think of a 2 digit number, then add those two numbers together and subtract it from the orginal 2 digit one, then you look at an icon representing that number on a grid - and it figures it out - I'm confused.
