Thought about a Bug? They were the cheapest cars anyone could get in high school, and I assume an old (not classic or collector, but rather a beater) bug could get you far on little to no gas, and parts are cheap to replace from junkyards. Not to mention they have character. Leslie had one and she loved it. Also, Dave Defeat (Enrons brother Dave, actually Pat paid for it) bought his car on ebay and got a really good deal on it. If I remember correctly, it was a bit of a fixer up (which was the intent) but the seller was local (Sandy Llego) and sent as many pictures as Pat asked for. Ebay gone right!

Also, a doctor was decapitated in a hospital elevator today or yesterday. The doors shut on his neck, trapped him, then changed floors taking his head clean off. There was another person sharing the elevator with him when it happened. She was treated for shock after something like 20 minutes of being stuck in the elevator with either his body or his head, I don't know which.
Jeebus. I don't even know what to say about that, but I sure as HELL am NOT holding the door of an elevator for anyone ever again. Sorry man, you can wait for the next one.

Ha, pretty cool site Elrick. At first glance, it looks like one of those fake websites where they'll try and sell you a domain name for like $50k, but upon closer inspection, pretty neat! Weird that they have site reviews, even for the porn sites. (Oon: TheHun is ranked 854th! YES!)
Ya, what the hell. Cafebeats somehow isnt in the top 100k! BULLSHIT!
On the IMDB.COM stats page, some "reviewer" goes off on Tim Robbins and calls him Baghdad Bob! omg, so dumd. =) (I just watched Jacob's Ladder again last night- its a pretty damn good movie! Not as mysterious n all like when i was younger and saw it, but still there are some EXTREMELY scary scenes- loved it! Better than Perfect Storm Jael!)

I just saw the behind the tale of the tape or something airing on TBS telling a story on Mike tyson. It showed footage of his early years.. back in der early 90's when he seriously kicked some ass and I was still suckling on teats. Time flies...

Went to an indian wedding reception yesterday. Curry up the yin-yang. I'm one of those asians that have acquired the taste for indian cuisine over the years I've been in Fremont. So, it was good to me. Less I can say to a few of the other fellas I sat with. I also gotta say, indian families really stick together. The turnout was massive!
OMG.. Thunderbird website was so lame. What is it exactly?

man, babylon 5 looked really bad when it was on. i never actually saw it, but the production value always seemed helluv cheap compared to whatever star trek was on at the time. who knows. i know that show stargate sg1 is now supposedly the highest-rated sci-fi show on tv, and that shit is completely unwatchable, imghos. why dont you buy the thunderbirds boxset. that shit seems so much cooler than b5. yarrr.
ADDED: if you go to the sci fi chanel website, it seems like they air the show at 9am mon-wed. have someone with cable tape it for u. fours babylon5roy

Anybody seen this show?
It looks like I'll be entering into some (paid) dead-time at work soon, so I was thinking of buying a TV show box set to pass the hours. I know that if I get Larry Sanders it'll be entertaining, but I've heard lots of good things about B5 and I love the idea of a series made to last 5 years, with everything plotted out in advance. On the other hand, I've never been into Star Trek type shows. "Let's teim travel again!1 Look at teh tits!" So, I dunno, any votes?
It's expensive too, 75 bucks! If it's good I don't mind 'cause you get like 22 hours of show for your dough. But if I bought it and it sucked, that would be sucksville.
It sucks that Blockbuster doesn't rent TV shows (only Sopranos, Oz, and Sex in the City). They're the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked.
