I bet if Eric still lived down here he'd buy 3rd Planet! Didn't you even talk about that way back when? I remember us giving you name idears for a game store.

I beat Expert drums on Rock Band about a month ago. Now I'm pretty gnarly and can beat just about anything (cept the new Offspring song, grr.) I bought the Metallica pack and it's friggen a blast to play. They cheese out and don't put in all the double-bass hits that you occasionally hear, but for the most part you can feel just like Lars.

Did you guys get the Spore Creature Creator yet? Link Z. Eldington. That game sounds really interesting, I can't wait to try it out. I got the demo version of the creature creator and have messed with it a little. Already though I've seen people created the most amazing creatures and that always makes me feel a little small. :(

For those not in the know (i'm looking at you Jon, actually no, I'm not, you're usually in the know more than I) Spore is the new game coming out from Will "Sim City" Wright. It's split into I believe 5 parts, and you can jump to any phase you'd like. You start in a tide pool, the evolve your creatures into tribes, then civilizations, then finally space exploration. There's the robust (ha, that word) creature creator, and the gimmick with that is that all the other creatures in the universe of your game are made by other players, be it your pal's or just creatures you see and like other people made. I guess it will have some gnarly community sharing stuff built in. Seems pretty darn cool. And they're already banning people for penis-creatures which is kinda sad since the game proper doesn't release till like Sept, but oh well.
