And another cat makes 3
So yeah, we have another cat. He's all black, rambunctious, and the other cats hate him so far. So, it's up to you guys to name him, or at least come up with some sweet names, cause we are out of ideas after the first two.
Name that cat!
Also, BSG is SOOOOO good! I like it alot!

Yeah but, he's an asshole!
Stealth is the blurst. Iron Eagle III meets Electric Dreams.
Arta-Fart-Choke: We will be moving and should be settled in to our new place in a few weeks. After that we will have a descent place to hang. So you won’t need to rent ye olde roach motel. Save a few bucks too. Public Tranny is pretty good. SF to the Oakland coliseum is pretty easy to do. You never saw my Scientology shrine did you? I collected L. Ron images for about 2 years and collaged them together on my cork board at Pat's office. We even fashioned three-D projections to make him look like he was fishing and wearing WWII SS hats. Those monkeys got Pat to go to one meeting once and never relented on the marketing effluent that poured through the mail slot every day. Its is awesome that in all their literature/marketing pamphlets they never make references or in any way make it known or otherwise readily apparent that he is dead. They have page after page of pictures of him talking with people and giving lectures, all the while wearing one of his many "I'm a Captain of a marine vessel" themed getups. I can not believe a whole religion has spawned out of an average pulp sci-fi authors writings.
Elzar: Its JanKnighice and Ehhhh...Me? Got it, you insensitive clod? No Aimey is right or something. Although ever since you coined Aye Mai when we were bowling, the name has stuck. Aye Mai also helped spawn some Aaron based derivatives, such as Aye Ball, High Ball, and High Mai. Much to her chagrin.

The 1980's version - that's when they reached Earth and it was early 80's los angeles or something. So bad - I remember it though.
Watch the mini-series first. Basically, the series picks up seconds after the mini-series, and it sorta has a "shocker" wow moment at the end that makes watching the series so much better. Yeah, the mini got great response so they picked up the show - it was basically a pilot, I guess. Ya, shit is good! But don't cheat and watch ep 1 until you've seen the mini or you'll spoil shit.

Sentences you would never imagine escaping your lips in casual conversation pre-baby:
"Hey, take this, and clean it up."
"...what the hell is that that on it?"
"...it's diaper ointment. She shoved it in her crotch while I was changing her."
...
Potluck, part deux:
Scientology.. whack job scam artists, yes.
Stealth: Holy Fuck, what a rad ass movie. Coming SOON to a video store near you.
Funny as balls: http://www.toxic.no/php/vis_film.php?id=82
Birthday camping/BBQ: We SO want to come.. but still working out baby logistics. Not quite sure how we'll make that work out just yet.
Aaronious: I'm still planning on coming into town for a Raiders game this fall, you think it would work better for me to try and get a hotel room close to the colliseum, or hang with you guys for a night or two so we can visit, drink and be merry? (I have no functioning knowledge of public transportation).

BSG1980
Hey Rude, based on your suggestion, I too am torrenting the first season of BSG, but I got a question: How does the mini-series fit in with the 'regular season'? I can't figure it out from Netflix. I'm guessing that it comes before, and then when it had a strong response they made the series, so I should Netflix the miniseries first? Or are they the same thing, with different names?
Halp!

Potpourri
Ja -El: Nice to hear from you again. I hope work is treating you well. Happy B-Day. You’re still the baby of the group. Ahhhh.. Little Johnny boy. How Cute! Man that Aaron guy is a jArk! Anyway if you make your way back to the bay area for a bit I would be interested in hangin'. Only caveat is that I will be moving at the end of this month so I will probably be a bit useless until after the say the 28th or so. I also would like to attend Elznatch's B-Day bash the weekend of the 12th-14th.
Jorn: We should chat about big E's b-day soiree.
All: As you may have guessed based on my comment to Johnny Khan I am moving. I will be moving about town to an area closer to the core of the city. In fact, I will be three blocks away from Janis's house. Also the place will hopefully be able to have guests instead of the burnt place we have now. Finally, looks like I will have a real job soon. No more 'I could lose my job at any moment' temp agency work. The pay is okay and the work not the most challenging, but at least the environment is pleasant, the people are nice, I will have a reliable paycheck and probably some descent benefits.
This is my favorite Ultra-Condensed book summary. Brilliant:

From here on out I ignore width comments
Step one: go to "My Account" link on the left hand part of the website, where the other links are.
Step two: The third icon over reads, "Select Theme", click on it.
Step three: From the dropdown menu, you may override the current theme, and return to the old theme, which is called "PostNuke". Click save changes and all your width problems will go away.
Step Four: If the HTML had been posted correctly, then the code would have wrapped around like it should have, and would be no width problems.
Step Five: Make your own blog site with whatever width you like!

-------------- invite # 2 ------------------------
Free Salsa at Cafe Cocomo
Saturday, July 16, 8:00pm - Sunday, July 17, 1:30am
Hola salseros! Cafe Cocomo in San Francisco has just put in a new dance floor, and to celebrate, they are having a customer appreciation night on Saturday the 16th! There will be free appetizers and free entrance all night long. For our friends in SF this will be a great opportunity to get together and dance a little Salsa. If you know of others that are interested in coming along feel free to add their e-mail addresses to this evite. This is an open evite. It will be great to have as many friendly faces around as possible. Partner is not required since there usually enough people to get a good 50:50 male:female ratio. If you're still learning salsa, the beginning lesson starts at 8, with the intermediate lesson starting right after the beginning lesson. The club usually doesn't start to get hopping until 10pm, but with the free admission this night it'll probably be pretty packed. Hope to see you all there!

Can you also come down Aug 12th?
We are going camping in the bluffs of San Onofre I think the weekend of the 12th for my 30th birthday! Hooray age!
Everyone and everyone's significant others are invited, and you should be recieving your invitations by mail this week. I know it can be a pain for all y'all SF types, but it would be fun if everyone could make it. We got two sites, and it's right next to the ocean, so surfing, drinkin', horseshoes, fire, and gamin' by the beach await!

1) I like King of Queens. It is enjoyable late night before bed TV gold.
2)Tomas F. Crews is my favorite actor, as well as person.
One of the above statements is true, but which one is it?
PS: I think Ryan likes KoQ too. No, not cock, but KoQ. Not to mention that the guy was in this years greastest comady, Hitch!
BONUS FAT: Remember this? So, so funny.
