i'm down for some nwn tomorrow night - still gotta get myself down to frys this weekend - maybe tonight. marathon weekend of music making for me. i gotta turn stuff in on monday (and i work that day too) so i'll shoot for doneness by tomorrow afternoon.

... all I did was read your text, not really HEAR you do anything! It's a silly art major thing a la Magritte and "This is not a pipe".
On a side note, I was thinking about how when you get out of school and come back to the states it is going to be an Xmas like you have never seen because of all the cool games and stuff that has been released since you entered your indentured servitude to Indiana Jones and the Queen Mother. So you get Xmas, and then you get to experience the world again for the first time!!!!

Open Hizouses
I will be out of the house saturday and sunday from around 1 - 5 for open houses. The open houses are from 2 - 4 but I want to be out early and return late, so probably not until sunday night for gamin goodness. Let's say, unless something changes sunday, we do it sunday night at say, 8pm? Is that cool? We can do the talking server thing too!

On wife, child.. I'll tell you what. It really sounds overly simplified but when it comes to finding your permanent significant other, all you have to do is find your best friend that just happens to have opposite plumbing. Best friends before everything else.. and everything else just has a way of working itself out.

BTW.. once you've finished the original NWN campaign, I HIGHLY suggest going through the Stephen Gagne module series "Penultima" as a funny tongue in cheek but still highly entertaining campaign.
Second BTW.. we should maybe consider downloading and playing the "Dreamcatcher" series as a group. I played it solo a ways back and it was absolutely amazing.. and the notes indicate that it supports as many as 4 players I think?

Congrats Art!
I'm jealous about the two things you just mentioned, wife and pregnancy, in a good way. I hope someday I'll find the right person. It's soooo difficult. Everyone I meet is wrong wrong wrong, too young, too wild, too crazy??? (Recently, this just happened again.. meet girl = pretty, witty = ain't happening. I don't even feel like playing NWN anymore. Anyhow, don't want to drink alone, as a precautionary measure, so I'll drink one for you in spirit. Good job~!

Hey, thanks fellas! I'm on break while Haylee is taking a nap with mom, trying to get caught up on emails and news and why my Oakland Raiders looked like total assclowns last weekend (and are likely to be embarassed again this weekend).
Ry, you know.. it's funny because I always said that getting married and/or getting someone pregnant were the two scariest things EVAR.. and now they're the two things in my life that make me the most happy.

We just finished giving her first at-home bath. It's so hard to believe in a non-surreal way that she's only a day old and here to stay.. if that makes sense. I'm operating on very little sleep and a lot of adrenaline/endorphins (sp).. so forgive me if I'm rambling like a total loon.
New patch out for NWN, aparently. I haven't downloaded it or checked out the readme.
Ok then! Going to go doze and watch a little CSI or something.

Congrats Art! During high school, I never would have expected YOU would be the first person to spawn offspring. I'm sure you will be a great dad, and I wish you and your wife all the best. I can't wait to see pictures, but please don't put a link to a video of the actual birthing process. I saw it once in Health class and I nearly barfed. I am going to be a great help when it is my turn, but I guess I should probably find someone to date first.
