The League is now complete!

Everyone welcome Enron and The Smoking Tacos (Amazons) to Teh Supar Action Cup I League! After watching Jael and Highend play, along with some gentle rousing, he decided to join! So that means, no more byes for anyone, whoever has the bye, now plays Enron! Unfortunately for him, the first bye was me, so he gets to play me tonight... check ICQ for time and place!
Good Game JAEL

Had a good game of the old blood bowl with Jael tonight. The Weapons of Mass Corruption beat out Tiny Bubbles 2-1. Rad game. Fuck, BB takes a LONG time. Can't believe I played it so much back then. Cool shit.

Ok, who's next?

Eh..

$99 is par for the course. Still reasonable. Do IT!

Sir Bortz-a-lot
jael - 7:30 on friday night? I dunno if i'll be home - we might have to do this on the weekend or during the week. Comeon now dude, dont forfit already!
Rudy

Meet me on ICQ tomorrow at 7:30pm?

P.S (Kublacon Attendees) I couldnt get the special rate at the HYATT and there were no other hotels within an acceptable walking radius. 99 dollars is cheap though for a hotel in that area.
bring it jael!
man, i deleted that post about c*nts- omg, i hate that word so much. i just did it to see what it would look like. then, after i deleted it, it wouldnt go away!

my team name is: weapons of mass corruption
my coach name: highend

they're tourneyment stylee - still haven't got an ok from the peeps tho - 2 days goin... hmmm.
Rule!

BooblaKahn-a-go-go. Awesome, well as Sir jOhNNy L33 pointed out, the low low price of $25 for pre-reg ends on the 28th of this month. After that it bumps up to $30. For more details and reg info go to www.kublacon.com.

Sidenote: Although Kublacon's website isnt a great design, at least it doesnt make God cry. Strategicon had to have one of the worst sites of all time. They have updated the site though. Still bad but not nearly as bad.

Dr. Motorbyke Futbol Andersen: What is the job market looking like for you? DOnt take that job in Alaska. Man that would suck. My roommate lived there for a while. Boy is there a lot to do there. Or not. Riddle me this: when you stated 401k you meant of course 40k (typo). I dont think a bunch of investments in minitures will serve me well in the post working age of my life. Just a thought. I just don't see Games Workshop products holding enough of a premium to get even there value back in 40 years. In all seriousness, good luck with the paper. I hope all goes well.

Asshole!
Booblacon

- I have every intention of attenting Booblacon. And by Booblacon, I a mean Kubla Con.
- Nice to hear from you PMikehD!
- I never really know what you mean on the blog, Rudy, so I shall cover all my bases. The Cunty Cunts will never be permitted on FUMBBL (incase you were serious). And when you logon to FUMBBL again and create your team, can you post the team name so I can invite you to Teh Supar Action Group? Also, be sure to create the team in the TOURNAMENT division. And remember all my other blogs about playing the games...
Hear Hear for Geographic Compatability

As probably the most geographically non-compatabile member of the team, let me put my vote for getting us all within gaming distance again! I can't imagine anything I would rather have... and since things aren't looking rosy here for future employment, it's probably not long now when I'll be back in the States at least! Wahoo fish tacos!

Fuggers at Cambridge colleges don't want to give me no love... well, not the kind of love I'm willing to take anyway.

To keep you all posted on what you're probably not even interested in: I'm now 34% written on the PhD. Hard to believe. Maybe by next week I'll be half way.

Wish I could come to Booblacon... maybe next year.
As for the SS, I have thought for a long time that we could all basically forget the idea of any sort of assistance when we get old. 401k, 401k 401k, that will be our only friend. Hmmm, you know, maybe there is a business opportunity in providing surrogate Social Security, you know, taking in money for years and then giving some out later - sort of like insurance.
Righto, back to writin' !

I'm not really into that whole nazi "thing" , so i'll prolly avoid joining the SS.

Jael, i still haven't been approved for my team, so when i do ill shoot u an email and we can set a time (this week is all open 4 me.)

Soc. Sec. better than SS.. Just a thought.

They have been talking about the SS age limit change for a while. I think the problem has always been that more money is being taken out now then put in. The Baby Boomer generation threw things out of whack. The generation after the boomers didn’t have enough kids and waited until they were older to have kids; thus, less money, later than anticipated. Besides 65 is not what it used to be. In general the average age of the population has changed (Although I do hope that they take into account infant mortality, That would really skew the stats). Personally they aught to stop fucking around with Tax cuts. Deficits should not spur tax cuts. As Art used to always say: Mongloid Thereom: Not Congruent.

Elrick: Does "I'm with you, too!" = going to Boobla Khan

We pillaged de woman, Rrrrraped de horses, and pruned the hedges of many small willages
Wow... now greenspan proposes that SS's age limit be raised and the average compensation to be lowered...

Amazing. Those fuggers in capitol hill are pissing money away on war, healthcare and fighting teh gays but then wants to cut benefits for SS?? On the argument for, raising the age limit is practical. Average Americans are living longer, healthier lives and therefore elongating the average working age. It should be raised porportionate to the avg years of people's usefulness. However, SS should not be the main focus of our budgetary crisis. It is not SS, a mere 500 billion, that is causing the deficit in America.

War!

Hoodle Nutz: One of us needs to get filthy fucking rich so we can forget working and play games all the time. Well that and become more geographically compatible. You know if you let Dennis play with 40K minitures, but with a WWII rules set he may play. Just give the guns different names. M1 = Autorifle. Bar = Boltgun. Grenade = Flak Grenade. Tank = Rhino (Not much of a stretch). Power Sword = Bayonet. Etc... He would never be the wiser. Just tell him you developed a new rules system for 40K. Home Brew. Yeah!

Kubla is teH b3st
"I'm with you, too!"

I shall let the words of sweet Luke Skywalker speak for me with regards to the con. I had a blast last year particularly the Blood Bowl (boo!), the miniatures games, the peanuts, the drive, and HUGE beers, and the Dwarven Dig. I can leave the "Flea-Market" concept in the sewer with the rest of teh waste.

I'm working on getting Denis there, cause you know, Denis and WWII miniatures go together like Dubya in a room full of unholy same-sex married couples!

Also, my surprise will NOT be the 15mm Battle Cry project promised last year, but instead, the N scale Cross Fire game that is well on it's way to completion! Yay! Another game we will never play!
